560 g minced meat (20% fat)
4 pcs brioche burger buns
4-8 slices of cheddar cheese
1 onion
approx. 2 dl whole mayonnaise
salt and pepper
oil and a knob of butter for frying
Make 8 70 g balls of minced meat. Cut the onion into thin rings. Season your mayonnaise if necessary, but you can also use it as it is.
Heat the grill over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes. Sauté the onions in the oil and butter mixture for a minute and set aside. Place the mince balls on an oiled plancha or grilling plate and cook for a minute. Take a piece of baking paper and place it between the meatballs and the grilling press. Press the balls into thin steaks with the grilling weight so that they flatten properly. Turn and season with salt and pepper. Heat the buns and assemble the burgers with mayonnaise and fried onions.
